GETTING TO VOLOS

Flying to Volos airport

Volos airport lies just 30 minutes from the port of Volos.

Easyjet flights to Volos. Easyjet, in their infinite wisdom have decided not to fly to Volos in 2024.

​

There are flights to Volos (Nea Anchialos) airport from several European airports.

Flying to Thessaloniki airport

Thessaloniki has regular flights from the UK, leaving from; London, Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham.

There are also regular flights from all major European airports.

Transfers to Volos

By bus: a short taxi ride to the Ktel bus station

2 hour 30 minute bus ride in an air-conditioned bus to Volos

You can book a bus ticket and the ticket will be open/transferable.

Hire a car

If your party numbers 4 or more, you may find it more cost-effective to hire a car from Thessaloniki airport and leave it in the free parking at Volos harbour.

Athens has regular flights from all over the world

Transfer to Volos

Take a taxi from the airport to the bus station making sure to get the right station for buses to Volos: Athens-Liosia Station (Rikaki 6).
